2024 Canadian National Police Pistol Combat Championships Wrap-up Report

The 2024 Canadian PPC Championships successfully concluded on October the 13th, after 3 days of exhilarating competition. Hosted by the Colwood PPC Club, in Beautiful Victoria B.C., at the Malahat Range of the Victoria Fish & Game Protective Association, the event brought together athletes from across the country, the USA, and Australia, to compete in 3 days of competition in 8 different events showcasing extraordinary talent and sportsmanship.

An outstanding performance was exhibited by Canadian Champion Roly Miles, of Dryden, Ontario. Roly held top score and Canadian Champion in 7 of 8 events.

There were a number of outstanding performances by a number of other competitors as well; Ken Fisher of Vancouver claimed first place in his class in four events; our own Don Seft of Victoria also placed first in his class in four events.

Mark Horsley of Vancouver, Bob McEwan of Calgary, and Dani Dufresne of Winipeg all placed first in their class in three events. In the Team Event, Australians Linda Jekel and Mick Greaves took top spot, besting local Victorians Stephen Taylor and Dom Piluso by 4 points.
